With over two decades of leadership in higher education, he specializes in digital audience engagement, social media marketing, enrollment growth, and strategic public relations.
As Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Element451, Dr. Lutzky connects schools with AI-powered student engagement solutions that personalize the higher education experience. His expertise drives enrollment growth and program expansion across business, healthcare, engineering, and education sectors.
Before joining Element451, Dr. Lutzky served as Vice President of University Partnerships at Risepoint (formerly Academic Partnerships) and Director of University Partnerships at InStride. His distinguished career includes enrollment leadership positions at elite institutions including Cornell University, New York University (NYU), Pace University, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he led admissions, international recruitment, teaching assistant management, and financial aid administration. Dr. Lutzky has also established himself as an expert professor in digital media and human-computer interaction for graduate programs at University of Southern California and NYU.
Dr. Lutzky’s extensive board leadership spans prestigious educational and advocacy organizations. He advanced graduate education excellence during his tenure on the Board of Directors of NAGAP, the Association for Graduate Enrollment Management, where he edited their publication Perspectives. As an elected member of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Alumni Association Board of Trustees for over six years, he strengthened alumni engagement initiatives related to admissions and diversity. At NYU, Dr. Lutzky was elected Chair of the Administrative Management Council, serving on the Executive Committee of the University Senate. At the state level, Dr. Lutzky contributed his expertise as Acting Chair for the Board of Study New York, a consortium of colleges and universities focused on international student engagement, and as a board member of the Colorado LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce.
As host of the “Mastering the Next” podcast on the Enrollify Network, Dr. Lutzky engages with innovators shaping the future of graduate education and educational technology.
Dr. Lutzky holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Rhetoric from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and master’s degrees from Syracuse University S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and Arizona State University Walter Cronkite School for Journalism and Mass Communications. In 2020 he completed a Certificate in Leadership Principles from Harvard Business School Online.
