With over two decades of experience spanning higher education, nonprofit, and public-private partnerships, Dr. Lutzky specializes in strategic partnerships, digital audience engagement, and technology-driven solutions that advance access and equity.

Technology Leadership & Strategic Partnerships
Dr. Lutzky has built and led strategic partnerships across organizations at the forefront of educational and social innovation—including WorkMoney, Moodle, Element451, Risepoint (formerly Academic Partnerships), InStride, and Cornell Tech. His work has driven program expansion and access across sectors including business, healthcare, engineering, and education. Earlier in his career, he held enrollment leadership roles at Cornell University, New York University, Pace University, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he led admissions, international recruitment, and financial aid administration.

Academic Expertise & Thought Leadership
Dr. Lutzky is an expert professor in digital media and human-computer interaction for graduate programs at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School and NYU Tandon School of Engineering, bringing real-world industry insights into the classroom. He is the co-author, with Suraj Bhatia, of Shaping the Human Experience: Design of Digital and Physical Spaces (Kendall Hunt, 2026), exploring how intentional design shapes learning, community, and human connection.

Board Leadership & Industry Impact
Dr. Lutzky’s board leadership spans educational, advocacy, and community organizations. He advanced graduate education excellence during his tenure on the Board of Directors of NAGAP, the Association for Graduate Enrollment Management, where he edited their publication Perspectives. As an elected member of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Alumni Association Board of Trustees for over six years, he strengthened alumni engagement related to admissions and diversity. At NYU, he was elected Chair of the Administrative Management Council, serving on the Executive Committee of the University Senate. He also served as Acting Chair for the Board of Study New York, a consortium focused on international student engagement, and as a board member of the Colorado LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce.

Education & Credentials
Dr. Lutzky holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Rhetoric from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and master’s degrees from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. In 2020, he completed a Certificate in Leadership Principles from Harvard Business School Online.
